Mozambique experiences damaging rift-related earthquakes

Central Mozambique has experienced several damaging earthquakes in the last few decades, including a magnitude-5.6 event on December 22, 2018, near the Zimbabwe border. Seismic stations from around the world helped to clarify the characteristics of this earthquake.
